Joe McCulley is the promoter of Roane Jamboree. He started it after retiring from the Aluminum Company of America (ALCOA) and from being the broker/owner of a financial service firm. He was licensed as a real estate broker, investment broker and insurance agent. He is a retired member of the Board of Directors and Treasurer of a local Federal Credit Union.
Joe has been a booking agent and promoter of musical events. He was a member of CMA, IBMA, Gospel Music Association, The Blues Foundation Associate Member, the American Federation of Musicians of the United States and Canada (AFM) as an AFM Signatory Booking Agent.
Mr. McCulley is a Vietnam veteran and an active member of and a life member of the DAV, VFW and AMVETS. Mr. McCulley is also a member of the American Legion. He has been honored with the Outstanding Veteran Award and the Lifetime Veteran Achievement Award for service to veterans. Mr. McCulley was chosen in 2011-2012 as a National Aide-De-Camp by the VFW.
